This is an interactive forum that provides an opportunity for our beneficiaries to be mentored by resource persons from diverse fields. The children are grouped according to age-specific needs. It also creates an avenue for evaluating the academic performance of the children on the scholarship scheme.
In May 2012, we initiated PROJECT BE! to commemorate the National Children’s Day. PROJECT BE! is a mentoring and empowerment program aimed at engaging children in activities that would pique their creative and imaginative abilities and also help them discover and maximize their strengths. Another Other activities under this intervention is the Bethesda Alumni Club.
The Bethesda Alumni Club comprise of graduates of the Bethesda Nursery and Primary School, Bethesda Scholarship Scheme and Tertiary institutions. They meet once every other month to interact with one another and network.
Volunteers/resource persons are usually invited to make a presentation to the students during their meetings. Other features include “Flash Workshops”, internship opportunities, exams/career guidance, soft skills training, etc.
